Why would I want an Economics degree?

Economics confronts some of the most compelling contemporary issues such as globalization, jobs, inflation, poverty, growth, and pollution. An economics major has the advantage of being trained in a discipline that is the foundation of all business fields.  A degree in economics provides you with the academic training for many practical careers and provides breadth as well as depth to your education.
